Airport expansion in the South East examined
On Monday (8th February, 2.30pm) the Transport Select Committee will be hearing evidence from the Secretary of State for Transport on the Government’s plans for airport expansion in the South East.
With decisions avoided or delayed on airport expansion timetables, this could be an interesting session. It is unlikely that the committee will accept continued lack of answers or direction. Hopefully the vital role that sidelined or closed regional airports might be pushed by the committee, especially with the likely timescales involved with expanding any operations at Heathrow or Gatwick.
The session should be available to watch online on Parliament TV here: http://parliamentlive.tv/Committees
